FIELD: technology for researching mechanical characteristics of materials, subjected to processing by under pressure, in particular, for estimating plastic properties. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for determining deformability coefficient of a material includes deforming axial-symmetric rod-shaped block by wire-drawing through cone-shaped matrix, after wire-drawing diameter of rod-shaped block is measured, remainder forces are removed, diameter of rod-shaped block is measured again, difference of diameters before and after removal of remainder forces is determined, while deformability coefficient is calculated using mathematical formula where E - modulus of elasticity of block material; sigmas - deformation resistance of block material; d0 - starting diameter of block before wire-drawing; d1 - diameter of block after wire-drawing before removal of remainder forces; d2 - block diameter after removal of remainder forces; Deltad=d1-d2 - difference of diameters of rod-shaped block before and after removal of remainder forces; - drawing-out during wire-drawing; alphaB - inclination angle of wire-drawing tool generatrix. ^ EFFECT: simplified method for determining deformability coefficient of a material, used to determine plastic properties of said material. |
