The structure has elongated wooden units with elongated parallelepipedic structures (1A, 1B, 1C) of rectangular section. A side corresponding to a small side of the rectangular section presents a polished and/or varnished surfacing and is oriented inside a building. Vertical lateral sides (7) with removable splice plates (9A, 9B) ensure connection of two adjacent units having female grooves. The splice plates between nearest units have inequalities of relief on lateral sides and co-operate with a side of a unit opposite to the nearest unit.
