The case has a cubic body including cutting lines delimiting transversal flaps (1j, 1l) and lateral flaps (1i, 1k) to ensure closing of the case, where the case is made from a carton blank (1) and has a rectangular shape. The flaps (1j, 1l) have arrangements (2) to permit engagement of a part of ends of the flaps (1i, 1k) whose intermediate median parts cover the flaps (1j, 1l) in a closing position. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a corrugated cardboard packing case.
