<p>Determination of a biomass comprises a combination of a first technique of measuring the capacitance within the biomass and another technique of measuring the physico-chemical parameters of the biomass and treating the data of measurement obtained from the techniques to determine one of the variables (concentration of biomass (X), cell size ( phi ) or a representative data of the physiological state ( psi ) of the cells). - Independent claims are also included for: - (1) measuring the line of biomass concentration of a cellular suspension by implementing the process of determination of the biomass; - (2) a device to determine the biomass comprising a combination of at least one means of measurement of capacitance within the biomass and another means of measurement of the physico-chemical parameters of the biomass and a means of treating the data of measurement obtained from the techniques of measurement, which is arranged to determine at least one of the variables; and - (3) procedure for piloting a microorganic culture system regulated by adjusting the action parameters to obtain a biomass satisfying to at least a determined target criteria in terms of cell size or physiological activity, comprising calculation of at least one of the action parameters from at least one of the parameter measured by the device.</p> |
