The support has a body (24) provided with openings (26) and tabs (30) alternatively, where the openings and tabs extend parallel to each other and to longitudinal direction (110). Each tab has a low thickness area (50) which is provided for breaking, when an applied load is greater than a predetermined load value. The area resists the stress as long as the applied load does not attain the predetermined load value. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft engine comprising a bearing support.
