Provided is a door closing device of a refrigerator for putting brake on a door to reduce its speed even when the door is swiftly closed, and surely closing the door to a refrigerator body. The door closing device of a refrigerator is comprising: a swingable door (2R); drawing members (22) and (23) mounted on the door; and a door closer (10) capable of contacting or separating to/from the drawing members (22) and (23). The door closer (10) includes: a rotating plate (12) journaled rotatably between a closed position and an opened position, a spring (15) causing the rotating plate (12) to execute toggle action; and a rotation damper (70) connected to the rotating plate (12); the rotating plate (12) includes a recessed part (24) capable of contacting or separating to/from the drawing members (22) and (23); the spring (15) is stretched to cause the rotating plate (12) to execute toggle action; and the drawing member (23) contacts the recessed part (24) to rotate the rotating plate (12) in response to the closing operation from the opened position of the door, decelerates the closing operation of the door by receiving resistance of the rotation damper (70), and keeps the door at the closed position by the toggle action of the spring (15) in the vicinity of the closed position of the door.
