The device has a wired unit (10) to rotatably receive a compact disc case (2) for permitting reading of sides of the case by angular movement around the unit. The case is connected to the unit by a hinge unit (5) carried by the case. The hinge unit has a blade in the form of wedge. The unit (10) is made in the form of metallic wires extending between two edges of a frame. An insertion space is arranged between units of the case. An independent claim is also included for a connecting unit between a compact disc case and a storage device.
