PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel check valve mounted to a fuel tank of an automobile or the like, capable of certainly preventing a reverse flow of a fuel by sufficiently ensuring sealing property even if a seal member made of rubber is not used and realizing reduction of cost by reducing the number of parts and an assembling man-hour. SOLUTION: The fuel check valve 10 is provided with a housing 20 mounted to the fuel tank 1 and having one end connected to a fuel feed pipe 3 and the other end opened into the fuel tank 1; a valve seat 42 provided on a fuel passage of the housing 20; and a valve element 50 press-contacted with the valve seat 42 from a side communicating with the fuel tank 1 by an elastic means 71. A contact surface of the valve seat 42 and the valve element 50 is formed to a spherical surface having the approximately same curvature and the approximately same center of curvature. Therefore, the valve element 50 is abutted on the valve seat 42 at a wide contact area and the sealing property is enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
