A numeric value data transfer unit (22A) transfers numeric data as a calculation input value and its data format from a user program system (2) to a library program system (3), assign a name for it, and registers/manages it. Moreover, a calculation request unit (22B) transfers the calculation content information from the user program system to the library program system. In the library program system, a calculation method decision unit (41B) decides the type of the library programs to be used and their execution order according to the received calculation content information. In response to a user request, the execution result is transferred from the library program system to the user program system by a calculation result transmission unit (41C). Thus, the user of the user program can easily utilize the library program without considering a specific processing in the library program system.
