<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press apparatus which is less liable to cause faults such as deterioration of the accuracy in the thickness of a product, even when large hot plates are used, and also does not lengthen the forming time, and a press apparatus system therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The press apparatus comprises a hot plate distance holding means for fixing one of a pair of the hot plates in the state departed from the other hot plate at a required distance, a metallic plate fixed to at least one of the hot plates so as to cover the workpiece side of at least one of a pair of the hot plates, a heating medium filled into the clearance between at least one of the hot plates and the metallic plate, a temperature control means for controlling the temperature of the hot plates, and a heating medium pressure regulating means for applying a pressing pressure to the workpiece arranged between a pair of the hot plates by adjusting the pressure of the heating medium when the distance between a pair of the hot plates is kept to be the required distance by means of the hot plate distance holding means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
