<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing unit capable of widening a range of a fitting part without narrowing a space of an inner peripheral section when the sealing unit is arranged in a split housing with a widely varied bore. <P>SOLUTION: In the sealing unit, a part of a cylindrical section 22 of a metal ring 2 is formed with an annular thin-walled section 25, a fixed sealing section 32 glued on an outer periphery of the annular thin-walled section 25, which is formed by an elastic body thick-walled section 35a, is firmly stuck on the housing 6, and a space section 7 is arranged among an annular slanting section 24 excluding the annular thin-walled section 25 of the cylindrical section 22, an outer peripheral surface of an elastic body thin-walled section 35b of the fixed sealing section 32 glued on an outer periphery of an annular thick-walled section 23, and the inner peripheral surface of the housing 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
