<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short range wireless transmission apparatus with low power consumption by properly controlling supply of power to the short range wireless transmission apparatus provided with a short range wireless transmission means. <P>SOLUTION: The short range wireless transmission apparatus is provided with: a short range wireless transmission means 1; an operation control means 2 for operating the means 1; and a power supply means 3 for supplying power to each means, the power supply means 3 is separately formed with a first power supply means 3a for supplying power to the short range wireless transmission means 1 and a second power supply means 3b for supplying power only to the operation control means 2, the short range wireless transmission means 1 can automatically be shifted to a low power consumption state in response to a transmission state, outputs a state identification signal indicating the low power consumption state while being shifted to the low power consumption state, and the operation control means 2 controls the first power supply means 3a to a power saving state on the basis of the state identification signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
