<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make detectable the phase deviation of a modulated signal using a simple calculations, make a circuit scale small, and improve the frequency drawing property and a phase jitter property. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a phase deviation of the modulated signal is detectable by a simple calculations, circuit scale can be made small, and a carrier-reproducing apparatus which enables improvement of the frequency draw-in characteristics and the phase jitter characteristics. This carrier-reproducing apparatus has a symbol estimator which presumes a transmitted symbol, a phase error detection means to form the phase deviation by which normalization is carried out, based on the estimated symbol and a received signal, a loop filter which filters phase deviation, and a numerical control oscillating portion controlled by the loop filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
