<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the use of a cursor and convenience in an input operation by sweeping away time and labor required for operating the cursor and by reducing a burden in the input operation. <P>SOLUTION: Upon inputting instructions for executing cursor addition processing by a user, the information processing section 2a of a computer 2 writes cursor information composed of index information or the like indicative of the cursor number and the position of the present cursor into a RAM (Random Access Memory) 2b to register the present cursor on a memory. When inputting instructions for executing cursor deletion processing by a user, specified cursor information on the registered cursors are deleted from the RAM 2b. When inputting instructions for executing cursor selection processing by the user, the cursor selected from the registered cursors is set to an effective cursor.
