<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion device excellent in conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device is provided with a light exciting body 4 formed of particle mainly constituted with sulfuric indium copper for photoelectric conversion, a porous electron transporting body 3 adhered at the front surface with the light exciting body 4 for transporting electrons generated through photoelectric conversion at the light exciting body 4, and a hole transporting body 7 for transporting holes generated through photoelectric conversion at the light exciting body 4. Since the light exciting body 4 is constituted with the particle mainly constituted with sulfuric indium copper, a large amount of light is absorbed by the light exciting body 4 and the carrier generated can be implanted in higher efficiency to the porous electron transporting body 3.
