<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a color filter by an electrophotographic process which produces a color filter by providing toners onto a glass substrate while easily and reliably supporting the glass substrate. <P>SOLUTION: Each process unit 4 in the apparatus 1 for producing a color filter has a photosensitive drum 41 having a photoreceptor on the periphery thereof, and a developing section for providing a wet color toner to an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor in a position opposed to a lower part of the photosensitive drum 41. A substrate moving mechanism 2 to move a glass substrate 9 supported from the under surface thereof in a horizontal direction perpendicular to a rotating shaft J1 of the photosensitive drum 41 is disposed under the photosensitive drum 41. The toner on the photosensitive drum 41 is transferred onto an intermediate transfer member 32 in a position above the developing section, and this toner is transferred onto the upper surface of the glass substrate 9 during moving while being supported from the under surface thereof. In the apparatus 1 for producing a color filter, a color filter can be produced by providing toners onto the glass substrate 9 while easily and reliably supporting the glass substrate 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
