<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide realistic line head and image forming apparatus by optimizing a circuit layout. <P>SOLUTION: The line head is equipped with a pixel circuit 32, a selection circuit 30 which generates a selection signal, a data line 312 which is arranged at one side of the pixel circuit 32 and supplies a data signal to the pixel circuit 32, and a power supply wiring line 301 for the pixel circuit which is arranged at the other side of the pixel circuit 32 and supplies a power supply to the pixel circuit 32. The pixel circuit 32 consists of a plurality of light emitting elements 321 arranged in a line, a holding transistor TFT1 and a driving transistor TFT2.
