PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of positively fixing an outdoor suction temperature sensor by an inexpensive composition. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with an outdoor unit 4 built in with a refrigerating cycle composed of a compressor 1, a heat exchanger 2, and a fan (not figured), the outdoor suction temperature sensor 5 detecting an outside air temperature, an electronic controller part 3 controlling operation of the air conditioner in response to the outside air temperature detected by the outdoor suction temperature sensor 5, and a screen 9 provided in a back face of the outdoor unit 4 to serve as hand contact prevention to the heat exchanger 2 and support of a casing 4a of the outdoor unit 4. An outdoor suction temperature sensor end product 15 is provided by housing the outdoor suction temperature sensor 5 and its lead wire part 6 in a cylindrical cover 7, a tip 8 of the outdoor suction temperature sensor end product 15 is arranged facing the heat exchanger 2, and a band 10 is fastened on the screen 9 in parallel with an outer side face of the heat exchanger 2 on an air blow path of sucked outside air.
