PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic transfer device that secures sufficient cleanliness even if trouble such as device failure occurs, or adjustment operation is required, so that the life of a master disk is remarkably increased. SOLUTION: The device has a clean unit 14 in which an opening 14A is freely opened and closed by an opening door 14B; holding means for holding a pair of master disks 46 having magnetic patterns by holder sections 22 disposed within the unit 14; supply means for supplying a disk for transfer between the master disks; drive means for pressing the master disks to both sides of the disk for transfer; magnetic-field application means for transferring the magnetic pattern of the master disk to the disk for transfer by applying a magnetic field to the pair of holder sections; sealing means for forming a sealed space within the unit by closely contacting the holder sections to each other; and interlock means for forming the sealed space between the holder sections by operating the closing means before opening the opening door.
