PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of paving the ground etc., which is applicable to the case where a conventional paving material employing a hardener containing a calcium component is laid on the ground, and facilitates pavement with good durability by laying the pavement material formed of soil while taking advantage of the natural appearance of the soil. SOLUTION: According to the method, hardening delaying liquid obtained by mixing a hardening delaying agent into water, is added to the paving material containing the hardener, and therefore the strength of a paved surface after the pavement is increased without increasing the amount of the hardener, which leads to improved durability of the paved surface without damaging the natural appearance of the soil. Further the strength after the pavement is increased and therefore the thickness of the pavement is made thinner than that of a conventional pavement, which leads to reduction in a material amount and alleviation in labor, to thereby cut pavement costs.
