The invention relates to a power amplifier which increases the torque that is applied to a drive shaft (1) and transmitted by a series of mechanisms to an output shaft (17) which rotates at the same speed but which is actuated directly by an output rod (15) that is connected at a point eccentric to an output disk (16) which is disposed on the shaft (17) and which has a greater diameter than the disk (10) used at the beginning of the transmission. The invention comprises a support body (9) which is traversed by a shaft (8) that can be rotated by groups of bevel pinions (3-4, 6-7). A disk (10) is solidly connected to said shaft (8), which drives a pair of levers (14, 15) by means of an eccentric shaft, said levers in turn causing the output disk (16) to rotate. In addition, a first bevel ring gear (3) transmits a to-and-fro movement to the support body (9) by means of another rod/crank device (11-12). As a result of said combined movement the diameter of the output disk (16) can be larger so as to increase the power.
