An image to be displayed essentially is denoted by an image (11) and it is displayed over the entire display region surrounded by a square frame (12). An image control section has a function for displaying the entire image while reducing it with the center of such image at the center. An image (13) is the reduced image. The image control section (9) displays the reduction image (13) at the initial stage of use of a head mount display. As the number of using times or the using time (selection of which is determined by a switch at the operating section) of the head mount display inputted from an input control section increases, reduction ratio of the reduction image (13) is decreased and the image is increased. When a predetermined number of times or a predetermined using time is reached, the image (11) to be displayed essentially is displayed.
