<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell having high reliability by reducing sealing portions and simply constituting a passage for a raw material such as fuel and air supplied to an electrode, and to provide a manufacturing method of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell has a plurality of fuel electrodes and a plurality of air electrodes on each of the inside and outside of an electrolyte membrane. The fuel electrode and the air electrode are faced through the electrolyte membrane to form a cell, the fuel electrode and the air electrode present on the same surface of the electrolyte membrane are arranged in parallel so that the same electrodes are adjoined each other in the fixed direction of the electrolyte membrane, the fuel electrode is electrically connected to the air electrode on the same surface with a conductive material, and the electrolyte membrane is bent in the direction perpendicularly crossing to the fixed direction toward which the fuel electrode and the air electrode are arranged so that the passage of a raw material supplied to the fuel electrode or the air electrode is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
