<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method superior in resolution and transfer properties by enabling a cleaning process to attain good residual toner cleaning even in a blade cleaning method even when using color polymerization toner in which a developer uses spherical toner by a two-component developer in an electrophotographic image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming method including electrification, formation of electrostatic latent images, a developing process by the two-component developer, a transfer process, a toner image fixing process, and a cleaning process, toner particles comprises at least a binding resin, a colorant, a charge control agent, and an external additive. The external additive added to the toner particles contained in an initial developer in the developing process contains larger particle diameters than those of the external additive added to supply toner.
