<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle capable of lowering the position of a main frame member to hang down a power unit while the minimum ground clearance of the power unit is secured. <P>SOLUTION: The motorcycle is equipped with a frame 2 and the power unit 20, wherein the frame 2 has the main frame member 4 extending backward from a steering head pipe 3. The power unit 20 has a drive source 21, power transmitting devices 33 and 34 installed additionally at the output end of the drive source 21, and a case 31 to accommodate the power transmitting devices 33 and 34, and are hung down from the main frame member 4. The case 31 of the power unit 20 has a recess 65 opening to the main frame member 4, and a boss 110 to be hung down from the main frame member 4 is formed at the bottom 65a of the recess 65. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
