<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cocoa-like aroma composition having sustainable cocoa or chocolate-like aroma and flavor, producible by an easy method and capable of giving aroma and taste with higher palatability, and to provide a food and drink formulated with the composition. <P>SOLUTION: This cocoa-like aroma composition is formulated with at least one kind selected from hydrocarbons, alcohols, phenols, aldehydes, ketones, acids, esters, lactones, a nitrogen-containing compound, a sulfur-containing compound, acetals and furans.
