PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a planographic printing plate having superior printing characteristics by a dry method that does not use water. SOLUTION: The method for making a planographic printing plate by heat developing, without using water in a contact state of a heat-developing silver salt photosensitive element with physical developing nuclei is characterized in that an aluminum plate, having an anodized aluminum layer, is used as the support body and that the coating liquid used is a dispersion in an aqueous system, comprising at least polyvinylalcohol, acryl-based latex and gelatin as a binder.
