PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door driving device, simply post-fitted (externally fitted) without remarkably remodeling the existing skeleton, door sill and sliding door in driving the sliding door formed of the skeleton and the door sill. SOLUTION: In this sliding door driving device, a magnetic body 23 is disposed in the sliding door 22, a driving body part 27 including a magnetism generating means 24 and a driving roller 26 driven by a driving motor 25 are fixed to a support means 28, and the support means 28 is fixed to the skeleton. The magnetism generating means 24 is disposed opposite to attract the magnetic body 23, and the driving roller 26 is disposed in pressure contact with the magnetic body 23, so that the sliding door 22 where the magnetic body 23 is disposed is moved by rotation of the driving roller 26.
