PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for locating a plurality of tire state detecting devices on a vehicle. SOLUTION: At first, all antennas in a vehicle are maintained in an operating state, and a signal to be transmitted from one of tire state detecting devices is received and decoded, and signal strength is obtained. When it is confirmed that the signal is continuously transmitted by the tire state detecting device, the antenna is alternately turned on and off, and a plurality of signal strength change values are obtained. Then, the antenna which generates the maximum value of the signal strength change values is made to correspond to the position of the tire state detecting device which transmits the signal.
