摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a rotation frequency, a rotation speed and the like of a rotating body to be detected precisely in real time in a wide temperature range from a low temperature to a high temperature. SOLUTION: A rotation sensor 10A is provided, which detects at least the rotation frequency of the rotating body 14 having a plurality of indented portions 12 along its circumferential direction. The rotation sensor 10A comprises; a core 20 which has a bending section 26 including two end faces 20a, 20b facing in the same direction and is disposed such that the second end face 20b is opposite to the indented portions 12 of the rotating body 14; a primary coil 22 which is mounted on the core 20 and supplied with high-frequency current i; a sensor main body 16 which has a secondary coil 24 being mounted on the core 20; and a detecting circuit 18 which detects at least the rotation frequency of the rotating body 14 by sensing an electromotive force V2 induced across the secondary coil 24 on the basis of variations in flux passing through at least the secondary coil 24 caused by rotation of the rotating body 14.
