PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retarded polyester film which is made highly flame-retardant without using a flame retardant such as a bromine-containing flame retardant, red phosphorus, or antimony problematic in environmental load, not suffering from flame retardant bleed-out, and having flexibility and high processability and to provide a curable resin composition used to obtain the same. SOLUTION: The flame-retarded polyester film is prepared by applying a curable resin composition comprising the following components (A) and (B) to at least either surface of a polyester film and curing the applied composition: component (A); a phosphorus-containing compound derivative prepared by the addition reaction of a phosphorus-containing compound having at least two carboxy groups in the molecule and a vinyl (thio)ether compound and component (B); a compound having at least two epoxy or isocyanate groups.
