PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device and a reproduction method capable of displaying a guide route by using a memory, reproducing without stopping a voice to the utmost even when a medium is required to be replaced because of deviation from the guide route, when reproducing the audio disk medium, and reducing a memory capacity. SOLUTION: Data becoming unnecessary because guidance is finished among route data and map data stored in a data memory 14 are erased successively, and reproduced audio data are stored successively into an erased vacant domain from an audio data recording medium 11b by a disk reproduction part 12, and the stored audio data are read and output. Hereby, even when the audio data recording medium 11b is discharged in order to read again the map data, the audio data can be output without a stop from the data memory 14.
