PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the remaining quantity of an ink from getting wrongly sensed due to the occurrence of bubbles in a sub tank during the circulation and supply of the ink. SOLUTION: The system has a liquid surface sensing means in the sub tank temporarily storing the ink and performs the action of sensing a liquid level. The system decides that the ink remains when the system senses the liquid level in a first prescribed number of times or more and decides that the ink does not remain when the system senses the liquid level in a second prescribed number of times or more.
