PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal adjustment supporting device easy of horizontal adjustment work. SOLUTION: The horizontal adjustment supporting device comprises a rod adjusting tool 10 having a screw portion 10a at one axial end or on the outer periphery of a shell portion, to be threaded to a bed 5 as a supported body, and a screw portion 10b at the other end, different in pitch and/or screwing direction from the screw portion 10a, and a supporting seat 20 having a screw portion 20a threaded to the screw portion 10b. In the case that the screw portion 10a and the screw portion 10b have the same screwing direction, the height of the bed 5 is changed by a pitch difference therebetween each time when the adjusting tool 10 is rotated one turn, thus improving ease of horizontal adjustment work.
