PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing device operable without the need for traffic restriction and superior in safety. SOLUTION: The valve opening/closing device comprises a valve 1 to be embedded in a carriageway S, a remote control part 2 to be set on the side of a walkway H, and a power transmission mechanism 3 for mechanically transmitting power applied to the remote control part 2 to the valve 1 to be operated.
