PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly carry out combined embroidery by a plurality of kinds of heads for a cylindrical matter to be embroidered. SOLUTION: A head group is composed of the sewing machine heads (3 and 4) each arranged closely to the embroidery range of one embroidery frame in which the cylindrical matter to be embroidered is set so as to carry out embroidery, wherein at least one of the sewing machine heads is a multiple-needle sewing machine head (3). The multiple-needle sewing machine head is provided with: a color change mechanism (20) for selectively positioning an optional needle at a prescribed operation position; and one shuttle bed (5) shared with each of the sewing machine heads in one head group. Each of the sewing machine heads and the color change mechanism are arranged in a transversely movable manner with respect to the shuttle bed (5), and a transverse movement mechanism (30) is provided which moves them integrally and transversely to position one of the sewing machine heads in one head group in accordance with the shuttle bed.
