<p>A grain oriented electromagnetic steel plate having a phosphate based tension imparting coating containing no chromium formed over the surface of a steel plate with a ceramic underlying film interposed therebetween. Since the weight per square meter of oxygen in the underlying film is set in the range of 2.0-3.5 g/m<SUP>2</SUP> per both sides of the steel plate, a grain oriented electromagnetic steel plate with chromiumless coating exhibiting coating characteristics of the same level as that of a steel plate having a coating containing chromium and realizing uniform high moisture absorption and low iron loss is provided.</p> |
