INFORMATION PRESENTATION DEVICE AND INFORMATION PRESENTATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information presentation device using a Bayesian network capable of presenting a presentation target in a mode that it is easy to determine whether or not a presented person accepts the presentation target.

SOLUTION: The information presentation device 10 has: a model storage part 28 which stores a model of the Bayesian network to get a presentation target suitable for a user; a presentation target reasoning processing part 18 to get the presentation target suitable for the user by performing probability reasoning by applying attributes of each candidate to a plurality of nodes of the model among a plurality of candidates for the presentation target; an influence measurement processing part 20 which measures influences given to selection of the presentation target by each node by applying attributes when the presentation target is asked for by the presentation target inference processing part 18 to the model; a reason generation processing part 22 which generates the attributes as a reason for selection of the presentation target based on the influence measured by the influence measurement processing part 20 and a presentation part 12 which outputs the presentation target searched for by the presentation target inference processing part 18 and the reason generated by the reason generation processing part 22.
