<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate for a cooker free from false recognition of a number displayed by LED while making invisible the inside of a cooker such as wiring of the LED or the like from a non-formation area of a light shielding film corresponding to the arrangement of an indicator composed of the LED. <P>SOLUTION: This top plate 1 for the cooker has a formation portion and the non-formation portion of the light shielding film on a rear face of a transparent glass plate 2, and a light-emitting element 7 is mounted at a lower portion of the non-formation portion.
