PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest wherein a support member can be easily moved and arranged in a retracted position and in an operating position. SOLUTION: The support member 20 is movably provided on a side part of a headrest main body 14. A moving member 23 to be moved rearward by a head part of a seated person is provided in front of an inside of the headrest main body 14. A transmission mechanism 25 for transmitting rearward movement of the moving member 23 to the support member 20 as its forward movement is provided between the moving member 23 and the support member 20. When the moving member 23 is moved from a front position to a rear position, the support member 20 is constituted to be moved from the rear retracted position to the front operating position through the transmission mechanism 25.
