PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device of a microscope having two or more light source devices which are quickly switchable among two or more, particularly, three light source devices by motor drive. SOLUTION: In the lighting device of the microscope with two or more light source devices which are located in a mirror box and can selectively be coupled to a lighting path by a mirror in the mirror box, the mirror is arranged so as to be turnable or slidable and is provided with at least one driving device arranged so that it can turn and slide the mirror and can couple one of the light source devices to the lighting path every time.
