PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fall in luminous intensity and the characteristic of aging. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of stimulable phosphor panel of this invention, a phosphor panel 4 on which specific substrate 2 a stimulable phosphor layer 3 is formed is arranged between two films 10 and 20. The side edges of the films 10 and 20 are fused while depressurizing the space between the films 10 and 20 to 1,000 to 30,000 Pa, and the phosphor panel 4 is sealed between the films 10 and 20.
