PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant alloy having excellent mechanical strength properties such as proof stress and creep fracture strength at high temperature, and having excellent environment resisting properties such as oxidation resisting properties, and to provide a method for producing a heat resistant alloy. SOLUTION: The heat resistant alloy has a composition comprising, by weight,≤0.1% C,≤0.5% Si,≤0.5% Mn, 7 to 12% Cr, 0.003 to 0.01% B, 1 to 7% W, 9 to 17% Mo, 3 to 15% Co, 0.5 to 2% Al and 2 to 3% Ti, wherein the total of Mo and W/2 is 10 to 17%, and the balance Ni with inevitable impurities. Among the inevitable impurities, the content of P is controlled to≤0.01%, S to≤0.01% and Fe to≤5%. The heat resistant alloy has desired high temperature properties in a high temperature state, and can secure stable high temperature properties for a long period of time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
