PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip transfer device efficiently discharging sucked chips. SOLUTION: The lower end edge of a scraper 41 is brought into contact with the surface 39 of a shutter 35. The shutter 35 is opened by a shutter cylinder 38. The surface 39 of the shutter 35 is cleaned by being swept with the scraper 41. Whenever the chips C in a tank body 12 are discharged, the chips C deposited on the surface 39 of the shutter 35 are removed.
