PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press driving device with which loads on structural members can be reduced and an apparatus can be made small. SOLUTION: In the press driving device composed of: an energizing link mechanism 10 in which an output side link member 4 is driven and connected with a ram 2; a feed screw mechanism 20 provided with a linear guide 16 and a feed screw shaft 12, and in which the linear guide 16 is driven and connected with the input side 8 of the energizing link mechanism; and a servomotor 22 of rotatively driving the feed screw shaft, and moving the ram forwards or backwards, the operational direction of the ram and the rectilinear movement direction of the feed screw mechanism are orthogonal to each other, also, an input side link member in the energizing link mechanism makes a certain angle (θ≠0) with the movement direction of the feed screw mechanism at the bottom dead point position of the ram, and the angle is made 0 (θ=0) before the bottom dead point position of the ram.
