PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an injection amount of flocculant for obtaining target water quality by calculating particle size distribution in respective processes, in a water treatment process removing turbid matter in water by flocculating setting. SOLUTION: This apparatus 20 supports operation of the water treatment process. The apparatus is provided with a raw water condition input means 30 inputting data of amount and quality of raw water; a civil engineering structure input means 32 inputting civil engineering data of a water treatment plant; a flocculant input means 33 inputting data of injection amount of the flocculant; a particle size distribution calculation means 41 calculating the particle size distribution of the water treatment process based on the input data of the raw water condition input means 30, civil engineering structure input means 32, and flocculant input means 33; a removing target input means 50 inputting a removing target value concerning water quality; and an operation amount calculation means 90 calculating the injection amount of the flocculant satisfying the removal target value inputted by the removing target input means 50 by using the particle size distribution calculation means 41.
