A draw tape assists in dosing a flexible container, such as a plastic bag. The draw tape comprises at least partially, an amount of a methyl acrylate material either alone or in combination with one or more other material such that the methyl acrylate in the draw tape ts sufficient to make the draw tape elastic. Also disclosed are a drawstring and plastic bag which uses the draw tape, and also a method of making such plastic bags.
