<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an endoscope apparatus for which a user does not accidentally perform autoclave sterilization (elevated-temperature high-pressure steam sterilization) in relation to an endoscope whose elevated temperature steam sterilization is impossible. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope apparatus comprises the 1st endoscope which is connectable with light source equipment or an image processing apparatus and cannot be subjected to elevated temperature high pressure steam sterilization, the 2nd endoscope which is connectable with the light source equipment and the image processing apparatus and can be subjected to the elevated temperature high pressure steam sterilized, the 1st endoscope body which is employed in combination with a removable member and composes the 1st endoscope, the 2nd endoscope body which is employed in combination with the removable member and composes the 2nd endoscope, and a differentiation means which is prepared only in the 2nd endoscope body, from which the removable member is removed, and shows that the 2nd endoscope body can be subjected to the elevated temperature high pressure steam sterilization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
