PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium having a BCA readable from both of a first surface and a second surface while maintaining compatibility with existing BCA standards.

SOLUTION: The information recording medium has the first surface and the second surface and further, is provided with a first information recording layer including a first reflection layer reflecting incident light of prescribed intensity from the first surface, a second information recording layer including a second reflection layer reflecting the incident light of the prescribed intensity from the second surface, an adhesive layer adhering the first and second information recording layers, and intrinsic information recording areas where the first and second reflection layers are burst cut to a bar code form in correspondence to the medium intrinsic information by the incident light of the intensity higher than the prescribed intensity from either of the first surface and the second surface.
