<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting diode backlight device allowing improvement of efficiency of light-emitting diode backlight by mounting a plurality of light-emitting diodes and a plurality of drive elements to the same printed circuit board, and to provide a liquid display device equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: This light-emitting diode backlight device includes: the printed circuit board; the plurality of light-emitting diodes mounted to the printed circuit board; the plurality of drive elements each driving each the light-emitting diode, mounted to the printed circuit board; and a control part electrically connected to the printed circuit board, controlling each the drive element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
